Fashion at Home

Comments Off on Fashion at Home

I was at home editing all weekend and didn’t do much else.  I hate to admit it but I haven’t showered or stepped outside since Friday morning (time of this writing is 11:30pm Sunday).  I have been backed up with some previous shoots and one client needed 16 fully edited fashion shots for Monday.  I was also still getting the hang of the Macbook transition (not much of a transition at all) and the use of Lightroom for more editing functions.  So what do I do for a break in the day…set up some lighting and shoot my beautiful model Colette in the comfort of our own home.  Peanut butter and banana sandwiches and I was energized for some Calvin Klein underwear inspired shooting.  This one was my favourite of the day.

Well just about had enough of editing and time for a shower than bed!

Soundtrack for the shoot was Cafe Del Mar’s Ibizia Volume Tres.  You gotta love the whole Cafe Del Mar series.

Great day of shooting at the studio with Mohammad.  He was looking for some business oriented pictures.  There were lots of clothes and sophisticated styles and this shot defnitely had that coolness and the business look that I thought worked best.

Thanks to Rina for the hair and make up.

Added thanks to Colette for the usual assistance and the chocolate chip banana cake.

Special thanks to Orange Model Management Inc.

Music for the shoot was Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s Night Song.

This shoot definitely tested my concentration as I found myself laughing uncontrollably during many frames.  Jay, as usual, had me in stitches with his craziness and I had to tell him to hold “that look” as I literally crumbled to the floor laughing on a couple of instances.  Good times!

Thanks to Colette for the obligatory assistance and capturing excellent images of her own.

Soundtrack for the shoot was Soundgarden’s Badmotorfinger.  Rock on!
